Licinia’s long-standing olive groves were planted according to ancient Italian tradition, allowing the workers to collect hay, or cultivate grain and other cereals alternating between rows. The new procedures also follow the same style and the original crops have now been replaced by unblemished fields. The variety available includes all the types available in Tuscany.
All in all, there are 6 hectares of olive groves with just over a thousand plants (from saplings to established plants) and are all growing a good distance apart from each other. This landscape provides the perfect scenery for a wonderful horse ride.
