In 2003 after meeting the wine expert Carlo Ferrini, Jacques Liedekerke felt inspired to make the huge step of renovating the lands around the farmhouse with the aim of creating a wine business. The project was very ambitious and, after a thorough investigation, in October 2008 the work was carried out, the vines were planted and the olive trees were brought back to life. The business began and the first products rendered everyone very satisfied.
2013 proved a crucial year because it was when the wine cellar was built. Anne, Jacques, their children and grandchildren, together with Carlo Ferrini and the architect Agnese Mazzei carried out the work paying a great deal of attention to its impact on the scenery and on the environment, while still adopting the very latest winemaking technology. Furthermore, the entire business and all of its products became organic in order be as harmonious as possible with the surrounding nature, keeping the environment unspoilt. This year the business is expanding including the Mandria Farmhouse and its adjacent lands that will be completely restored from its currently abandoned state.
